Today’s Color is Green

Precious Stones or Gems: Chrysoprase (chalcedony), Emerald (beryl), Jasper, Green Opal, Green Peridot (chrysolite)

The color green is used on Banners, Flags, Streamer, Tabrets, Tassels, and Praise Shield, or Hoop. In a lot of sanctuaries, you can find the color green as a primary or secondary color in their color schemes. Below is an overview of the worship color, green:

Definition for the Color Green:

The quality or state of the achromatic color between blue and yellow in the spectrum.

You can found the color chloros (green, pale) in the Strong’s Greek Concordance number 5515 with the definition from the same as Chloe; greenish, i.e. Verdant, dun-colored — green, pale; tender green grass or grain (yellowish, pale).

Revelation 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

Revelation 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

The Following Meaning for the Color Green:

Praise—admire, admiration, glorify, or worship

New Beginning—new season of change

Prosperity—wealth, affluence, richness, or success

Mercy—compassion, sympathy, understanding, or kindness

Harvest—to gather, collect, or reap

God’s Holy Seed—God’s beginnings

Spring—the season for growth and movement

Triumph of Life over Death—the success or victory of life more than death.

Charity—help, support, and act of kindness

Hope—looking forward to something; faith
