“1 Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake. Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God? But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them. O Israel, trust thou in the Lord: he is their help and their shield.”

– Psalm 115:1-9

This is a great day to get into the Word of God, and relax and think about this sermon. Go and get your bible, pad, and pen. Take some good notes, and then apply them to your life.

This is the answer to an age old question – Where’s Your God Now? The psalmist answers the hecklers through Chuck Smith sermon in about 40 minutes. If we know that God is working out in the backgrounds, we will be at peace and not worship other things – people, sports, etc. You will trust in the Lord, your God.

Are you ready for some truth and clear reminder of who God is? Listen carefully.

Let’s continue reading Psalm 115:

“10 O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield. 11 Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: he is their help and their shield. 12 The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron. 13 He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great. 14 The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children. 15 Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth. 16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord‘s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. 17 The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence.18 But we will bless the Lord from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the Lord.”

God is forever presence and living to help us. If you believe this, Praise Him Alone!

  1. We find the majority of Christians worshipping false gods and bowing down in front of graven images of their gods.

We can only hope and pray those Christians once shall come to see who Christ really is and Who the only One True God is Who deserves all honour.

    1. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. Many “so-called” and really ARE NOT Christian; in narrow sense, are doing what comes naturally – worship, just as Paul stated to the Greeks in Acts 17:23, “ignorantly worship.” My hope as well is to see “the AWAKEN from their sleep” to “taste and see” Elohim through our Lord Jesus Christ. Mercy, Grace, and Peace!
