Faith

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” – Hebrews 11:1

Overview

Faith is found in the KJV of the Bible three hundred-seven (336) times, and in the Old Testament (55 times) and the New Testament (280).

Faith is complete trust or confidence in someone or something. Having strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof. In John 20:29, “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” This is the evidence of faith found in Hebrews chapter 11. We are blessed who exercise their faith.
