Praise: What Language Can You Express It With Prayer?

Each language has praise on the person’s lips, God told us to express daily praise to Him. I will start typing my wonderful praise to my Lord and Savior, and to my heavenly Father God. Please join with me and do the same. John 4:23, “…the Father seeks such to worship Him.”

Praise [Praz] English   칭찬 [ching chan] Korean

La alabanza Spanish   louange French  Lof Dutch   laude Latin

övgü Turkish   pochwała Polish    papuri Filipino   loben German

שֶׁבַח [šéḇaḥ] Hebrew     έπαινος [épainos] Greek     赞美 zàn měi Chinese

مدح [madh] Arabic    хвалить [khvalit’] Russian

There are many other languages that share this same word of encouragement. I hope you will take the time to share it with us below. Praise is important, because it shows the emotional feelings of approval. You are wanted, You are admired, You are congratulated!

It is the same with the Heavenly Father. He is wanted, He is admired, and He is congratulated, right now!

Heavenly Father,

You are loved, and adored on this day! You are my shield and great reward. You are my provider. I thank you. You sit up on high, and look down toward me to talk in the cool of the day, as I listen with amazement. You are my strength when I’m weak, and my song during sorrow. Your love for me never fail. I love you too.

I will endure on this earth, until I see you face to face Father. You are my morning smile, and my evening comfort. Oh How I love you Father! Thank you for making a way for me out of temptation through my Savior, Jesus Christ: for He is the way, the truth, and the light. I think about your creation, and I stop just for a few minutes to breath it in. Wow, you are awesome!

You are my mighty warrior. You are my great King among the little gods. You are my living word. There is no one like you, Glory Hallelujah! I’m truly honored to be your child. I congratulate you in the matchless name of Jesus.

Lord, as long as I have breathe, I will praise, and declare you name on this earth. Yes, I will!

Padre celestial ,

Oh How I love you Vader!

Jij bent mijn machtige krijger. Jij bent mijn grote koning onder de kleine goden. Jij bent mijn levende woord.

God Spoke Through His Son

Scripture Reading

Hebrews Chapter 1

1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Quick Answers: What is Prophetic Worship?

Q. What is Prophetic Worship?

A. Prophetic Worship means to have the nature or function of prophesying in speech  (or singing and/or dancing) during a Christian worship service. During this prophetic worship service, a lead person combines spontaneous sounds and movement to present a “new and inspired” word from God.

Spontaneous and Prophetic worship are the same thing in one essence: to have the Fellow Believer’s in Christ to believe that God is using the anointing gifted talent in an individual or collective group to give “new” revelation to the audience.

Scriptures

2 Peter 1:20-21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Romans 12:6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Ephesians 5:18-19 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Matthew 4:10 – Worship Scripture With Commentary

“Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”
-Matthew 4:10

Pulpit Commentary

Verse 10. – Get thee hence, Satan. “Avaunt, Satan” (Rheims). Christ does not address him directly till this climax. The two previous temptations were, comparatively speaking, ordinary and limited. This temptation calls out a passionate utterance of a personality stirred, because touched, in its depths. Only once again do we find our Lord so moved, in Matthew 16:23 (the “Western” and “Syrian” addition here of ὀπίσω μου from that passage emphasizes the feeling common to the two cases), when a similar representation is made to him that he ought to escape the troubles which his Messianic position, in fact, brought upon him. For it is written (Deuteronomy 6:13); from the LXX., which differs from the Hebrew by

(1) translating תירא, “fear,” by προσκυνήσεις (but B has φοβηθήσῃ); and

(2) the paraphrastic insertion of “only.” Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Worshipπροσκυνέω) , as in ver. 9. Serve; λατρεύω, “in perfect subjection to a sovereign power” (Bishop Westcott on Hebrews 8:2, Add. Note). Our Lord’s reply cuts up the devil’s solicitation by the root. “I do not enter,” he means, “into the question of thy authority over these things, and of thy power concerning them. I acknowledge thee not. The command which I willingly obey excludes all homage and service to any other over-lord than God alone. I accept not thy orders and thy methods. I take my commands direct from God.” Observe that our Lord does not say how he is to gain the kingdoms for his own; this would be the care of him whose command he follows. But before ascending, the Lord proclaimed (Matthew 28:18) that he had received (i.e. gained through suffering, Hebrews 2:10Philippians 2:9) more than (note “in heaven”) what the devil would have given him as a reward of obedience to false principles.

From Book 1: The Pulpit Commentary was first published between 1880 and 1919 and is a highly respected work written by conservative, trustworthy men. Containing over 22,000 pages and 95,000 entries, it is one of the largest and best-selling homiletic commentary sets of all time. It was directed by editors Joseph Exell and Henry Donald Maurice Spence-Jones and utilized more than 100 authors over a 30-year span.

When reading this commentary, it is not difficult to see why it has remained a favorite amongst pastors for more than 100 years. There are three key elements which set this apart from its contemporaries, the first being that it gives an exposition, or verse-by-verse, annotation of each verse in the Bible. The second element is that it explores the framework of the text, the homiletics. Finally, it supplies the homilies with multiple model sermons from various authors. Also included is a translation as well as historical and geographical information.

The Evangelical Magazine and Missionary Chronicle declared, “This commentary bids fair to take a conspicuous place among the ever-multiplying aids to the study of the Holy Scriptures. It will revive the great work of Lange, and will far exceed the Speaker’s Commentary in the bulk and fullness of its material. The peculiarity of the Pulpit Commentary is that it offers special assistance to the preacher: first by giving him a critical and exegetical exposition of the text of Scripture, and then providing him with succinct and helpful directions as to the preachable aspects of the chapter and paragraph already explained.”

The print edition of this set typically retails for more than $1,000 making the current offered price a very good bargain. Due to its size, it has been broken up into nine separate volumes:

Volume 1
Genesis to Joshua
Volume 2
Judges to 2 Kings
Volume 3
1 Chronicles to Job
Volume 4
Psalms to Song of Songs
Volume 5
Isaiah to Daniel
Volume 6
Hosea to Malachi
Volume 7
Matthew to John
Volume 8
Act to Philippians
Volume 9
Colossians to Revelation

The footnotes have been placed in line with the text with each footnote number enclosed in red brackets (i.e.: []) and the text in green. There is also a linked table of contents at the beginning of each volume for ease of navigation.

Galatians 3:9 – They which be of Faith are blessed with Scripture Commentary

Bible Scripture

So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. – Galatians 3:9

Pulpit Commentary

Verse 9. – So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham (ὥστε οἱ ἐκ πίστεως εὐλογοῦνται σὺν τῷ πιστῷ Ἀβραάμ) “Are blessed;” are objects of benediction. The apostle gathers from the words cited in ver. 8 the two particulars, that there are who get to be blessed like Abraham and with him, and that it is by faith like Abraham’s, without works of the Law, that they do so. He seems to have an eye to the sense of Divine benediction which the Galatians had themselves experienced, when upon their simply believing in Christ the Spirit’s gifts had been poured forth upon them. The word “faithful” (πιστῷ) is inserted, ex abundanti almost, to mark the more explicitly and emphatically, the condition on which both Abraham and therefore others in him gain the blessing. This being “in Abraham,” which is here predicated of all who gain justification and God’s benediction, is analogous to the image of Gentiles, being by faith “grafted,” and by faith abiding, in the “olive tree,” which we have in Romans 11:17, 20. The verbal πιστὸς is generally passive, “one to be believed or trusted in,” and so a man “of fidelity;” but it is also at times active, in the sense of “one who believes,” as John 20:27Acts 10:452 Corinthians 6:15Ephesians 1:11 Timothy 4:101 Timothy 5:161 Timothy 6:2 (so in ἄπιστοςJohn 20:27ὀλιγόπιστοςMatthew 6:30). In consequence of this use of the term in Scripture, both fidelis in ecclesiastical Latin and “faithful” in English have often this signification.

Prayers for Christian Worship: In A Time of International Crisis

Prayers for Christian Worship

In a Time of International Crisis

Prayer starters for you to use in your daily prayers with God. This prayer below do not take place from your own words with a sincere heart to the Lord, which expresses “in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24).

Eternal Father God,

You said that you will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). Our present day hope, our help in times of trouble: get the nations to work out their differences. Do not let threats multiply or power be used without compassion for one Need Prayeranother: For Love bears all things, believes all things, hope all things, and endures all things (1 Corinthians 13:7). May You lift up their countenance (Numbers 6:26), and May Your words, Elohim, rule the words and actions of men (1 John 3:18). Agree and settle claims peacefully (Colossians 3:15A) between the nations from all around the world. Only Vengeance belongs to You Lord God (Romans 12:19)! Hold back impulsive persons (Ecclesiastes 5:2), lest desire for vengeance overwhelm our common welfare. We look to You for our common grounds that will bring peace to earth right now (Luke 2:14), through Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace and Hope for ALL the willing Believers. We are humbling ourselves in prayer today by seeking You, and turn from our evil ways. We know by following Your instructions from the scriptures. You, Lord God, will hear I cry.

Glory Hallelujah, Amen!

Quick Answers: What is Praise and Worship Music?

Q. What is praise and worship music?

A.  In the mid-sixties (1960’s), this musical branding of contemporary Christian music had been developed in the United States by the young adults until present day. Under the category of contemporary worship music, this sub-category, praise and worship, is used in part to help with corporate worship, along with blending of genres of other pop style songs.

Scriptures

1 Chronicles 15:16 And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of musick, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.

2 Chronicles 5:13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

Amos 6:5 That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David;

Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Hey True Worshipper of God,

I have been working tiredly getting these interactive lessons out for you about praise and worship with great joy. God is looking for true acceptable worship from those who will worship as John 4:23-24 states, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

And I know, you have that heart to give him your all!

Join with me in each praise and worship lesson, learning what is unacceptable worship to knowing that our prayers to the Heavenly Father God  are worship as well. Be prepared to study, because there’s a quiz for you at the end.  All sixteen (16) lessons are based on the honors system to go forward to the next lesson. However, you cannot complete each lesson without passing at 80% of the interactive lesson. If you enjoy these lessons, please share your testimony with me through about contact page. I would appreciate it, as well as suggestions for more lessons.
