Take Time to Praise the Lord

“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” – Psalm 118:24

Just think about God, and all of His goodness to You.
He woke you up this morning.
All of You Limbes are functioning properly.
You are in Your right Mind.

He is soooo good!

Amen.
Hallelujah!!
Did I shock your mind? I hope so. This word is like stretching exercises.

Did you sing to the Lord today by giving Him your best praise? If you read the previous article posted called Can you Praise God with a Pure Heart? We started to sing; which is one form of praise. Singing will help you, if this is your first time doing this. Purchase some Christian music that sing directly to God or Jesus that will help you in your praise & worship experience with God. I encourage you to purchase as many as you can, and then check your attitude. Why? Your heart attitude is key to getting God’s attention, then you will feel the anointing rest in your presence.

A pure heart is nothing more than being real with God, and not pretending to honor and adore Him. Remember!

Are you ready to praise? I know I am! Join with me, as we take one minute to praise God, Jesus, The Lord, Father, and Savior!

🙂 Smile and lets GOOOO (Praise Him):

Lord you are so good to me!

I will praise you, as long as I lived on the earth. This is my purpose.

Because of you Jesus, I’m still moving and have my being.

Heavenly Father, thank you for Your Grace & Mercy, without it, I would be lost.

Because of who You are to me, Lord, I give you glory and honor.

There is no one like you, God, who searches on this earth, looking for those who inhabits praise. There is no one greater.

Worthy is the Lamb (Jesus) who was slain for me. Your blood has washed me clean, as white as snow.

I need you, my Lord and Savior. I acknowledge you in all my ways, and then you will direct my path into victories.

I worship you Jesus, and glorified your name; the Name above all other names.

Holy, Holy, Holy Father. Hallelujah! Glory!

Amen.

Wasn’t that exciting! The Lord is good, and He loves you. It is His pleasure to bless you, when you praise Him. We stand in total victory in every area of our lives, when we praise.

Psalm 33:1 in the Amplified Bible states,

“Rejoice in the Lord, O you [uncompromisingly] righteous [you right upright in standing with God]; for praise is becoming and appropriate for those who are upright [in heart].”

The praise of the heart brings cheer to God’s ears, for His people sound best when they glorify Him. Praise is an action that must be done by you, and only you!

If you cannot praise the Lord, check your attitude. It is the key to your success.

A pure heart and praise are like wonder twins. You cannot access one without the other, when it comes to worshipping God. He knows the heart and the motive of everyone, and is continually looking for those who will worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24).

So…do me a favor? Take Time to Praise God Daily. You will see your life change for the better. Trust me.

Your focus on life will change (just from praising and worshipping our Creator), and then you will experience God like never before.

Can You Praise God With A Pure Heart?

“I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth” – Psalm 34:1

The attitude of the heart is the heartbeat of praise. In other words, LaMar Boschman, a General of Praise & Worship, and the Founder of the Worship Institute, expresses it this way, “When I worship, I would rather my heart be without words than my words be without heart.” If you feel this way, it is alright. Get your attitude to align with your heart, and then you will see praise come forth. Without the inward attitude of the heart, you cannot praise God the way you should. All the art forms—singing, dancing, playing of musical instruments, etc.—cannot express your attitude of the heart, but can be used to help in the expression of your truth in worship. Just be genuine in your attitude of worship! God is looking for genuine people, giving their heart and soul, to Him freely in their expressions. A pure heart is nothing more than being real with God, and not pretending to honor and adore Him.

If you do not know how to praise the Lord, let’s pray:

Heavenly Father, I thank you on this day that I have the desire to praise and worship with a pure heart, as I sing this song to you. You will receive my praise as a sweet smelling savor and heard the sound of my heartbeat from now on; for this is what I was created to do—praise the Lord. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Do you remember the article called What is Praise?  There it describes praise as giving honor in verbal or physical expression to God. He loves it. It is great joy to honor Him daily.

Are you ready to sing? Start by thinking about the first Christian song that comes to your mind. Sing the song without doubts or hesitation. Love the Lord Your God! He is listening.

Purpose of Praise

Every created being living on planet earth were created with a instinct to praise and worship. These created things—a person, the sun, moon, and stars, heavens, all kinds of animals, and so on was place here on earth to praise God Almighty. We were pre-wired that way by Him. He created and made these things for His good pleasure. In return we praise Him. If you need a scripture reference for this, look in Psalm 148; which contains a list of created things who praise God. Yes, it is our duty and a privilege for being alive today.

Why?
Psalms 115:17 states, “The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence.” And look at, Isaiah 38:18, which states, “For the grave cannot praise thee; death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit can hope for thy truth.” These verses show that praising the Creator is our purpose in this life, not the dead. But they also explain how living people in dead traditions tend not to praise God any more than literal corpses do. Do you want to be followers of dead traditions of men? Hope not.

We are alive unto righteousness, and serve a living God. Just think about His goodness!

God is good to all, who call on Him in truth? Gary Oliver, a psalmist and pastor of Tabernacle of Praise, once said, “The highest praise is not worship but obedience.” Are you obeying the call to praise and worship to the Most High God today? You need to praise Him in obedience to the truth. The truth is found in God’s Word, and is sung or recited. If you know the truth, you will begin to praise Him, not for what He has done, but for who He is to you.

Are you moving and in your right state of mind? Have food to eat? Have a nice place to live in? You should have praise in your mouth that will helpfully show in your actions, after declaring the goodness of God. AMEN.

What is Praise?

Let me give you a quick definition: praise is giving honor in verbal or physical expression to someone or something.

Merriam-Webster Dictionary describes praise in two forms:

  1. A verb (verb is a word that is grammatical center of a predicate and expresses an act—action or inactivity of a person, place, or thing) transitive form: praised; praising 1: to express approval of: commend. 2: to glorify (a divinity or a saint) especially in song. intransitive form: to express praise
  2. A noun (noun is a word that is the subject of discourse—person, place, or thing) Form: praise; praiser 1: to expression of thanks 2: [an act of] worship

ilovepraiseandworship.net want to give you another definition about praise and that is:

Praise in the act of worship is meant to admire, commend, extol, honor, worship, and glory given to a superior being; in which all Christians call him God, or a saint; a person who met certain quantifications as the standard’s by man; in which is found in the Roman Catholic church. In scripture (the Holy Bible), the word is used at random to refer to renown, fame, or glory given to idols, material things, or to the true God.

God has created every living being on this planet to praise (Psalm 150). It is His pleasure to see those who are created in His image doing what He has created us for – to praise, especially Him (Psalm 22:3)! God is good and worthy of our praise personally (Hebrews 13:15; John 4:24).

I hope you are wanting to praise the living God right now. For He is good and His mercy endures forever and forever. Do you agree?
