Can you recognize true and false Believers in Christ? Now before you answer this question, let me give the simplest example that the Holy Bible tells every disciple is founded in Matthew Chapter 7. We are to watch out for false Believers of every form in the body – prophets, bishops, pastors, teachers, deacons, and so on. Anyone who is wearing a fake authority, and exercising kingdom principles of the the heavens. If you be in Christ, you need to discern the differences between good and evil. I will encourage you to do just that! Many so-called Christians are incapable of discerning right from wrong. Why is that? Can discernment be taught, or is just like have commonsense? We need this ability – discernment – to be aware of the times around us. Let the Holy Spirit of the Living God direct your heart and enlighten your mind to these truths by reading His word, starting at verse 15:
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
I agree totally with Jesus’ statement! Every disciple can recognize their fellow brother or sister in the FAITH. The true spirit dwells inwardly, and never outward. In the natural you cannot see the inward spirit, however the Holy Spirit of God will help those who follow the true essence of Christ were in you and I abided. To abide means a dwelling place; to stay or live somewhere. The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost or Spirit, helps those to praise the Heavenly Father with true intent (John 4:23-24) and directs our every step (ie. Psalm 3:6; John 14:26) in this life. If you didn’t understand this principle by now, you and I are abiding in Him; seeing that, we have been translated from the power of darkness into the kingdom of God’s dear Son, Jesus the Christ (Colossians 1:13).
If we being his disciples, we are to know right from wrong, and do what pleases God the most! Praise and worship will help you to invite God to take up residence in your physical dwelling place – your body. You are the temple of God (1 Corinthians 3:17). He would love to meet with you there. The Holy Spirit was given to every Believer (1 Corinthians 2:13), so we can produce good fruit. Jesus explains the use of this term “fruit” by reading John 15:1-9 below:
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
The love of the Father and the Son, Jesus Christ, is to glorify them on our branches. There are many religions in this world, but there is only one Lord of them all. Elohim sent Emmanuel (Immanuel) or Joshua (Iesous), whatever your preference. God sent his Son, and God’s son sent the Holy Spirit to minister to our spirits. Spirit to spirit. This interaction causes us to produce fruit.
The “Fruit” in which we must bring forth is discerned by those who are judging good and evil in this world. Will you and I stand up and be not ashamed of the true Messiah, Jesus Christ, and His messages. You and I can’t bear fruit unless we are joined with Him: for every false witness will dry up for kindling (it applies, now and in the end at the Lake of Fire – Revelation 20:11-15). My brother and sisters in Christ, endure to the end. Watch therefore and pray by recognizing every godly and ungodly thing; especially those who called them self “Christians,” or cry out “Lord, Lord”. Remember the scripture tell us that you will recognize them by their “Fruit.”
