Precious Stones or Gems: Red Topaz, Sardonyx (Chalcedony), Red Sapphire, Ruby, Red Jasper,  Red Spinel, Rhodolite Garnet, Rubellite (Tourmaline), Red Quartz

The color red is used on Banners, Flags, Streamer, Tabrets, Tassels, and Praise Shield, or Hoop. In a lot of sanctuaries, you can find the color red as a primary or secondary color in their color schemes. Below is an overview of the worship color, red:

Definition for the Color Red:

The quality or state of the achromatic color at the end of the spectrum next to orange and opposite violet; the chromatic color resembling the hue of blood, fire, or rubies.

There are two Greek words: Scarlet and Firey Red

You can found the color kokkinos (scarlet) in the Strong’s Greek Concordance number 2847 with the definition of crimson; a scarlet, dyed with kermes (coccum), the female coccus of the kermes oak.

Also found the color purrhos (firey red) in the Strong’s Greek Concordance number 4450 with the definition of having the color of fire, red.

And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

Revelation 18:12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,

Revelation 18:16 And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

The Following Meaning for the Color Red: 

Blood of Jesus, the Person of Jesus—The Son of God, the life and essence

Covenant of Grace— agreement, contract, or promise of grace

Hate—extreme dislike, disgust or detest

Judgment—verdict, decision, or ruling

Love—feel affection for, adore, worship

Martyred Saints—a person put to death for adhering to belief

Redemption—salvation, exchange, rescue

Pentecost—the 7th Sunday after Easter observed as a church festival commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit on the apostles.

Sin—transgression, wrongdoing

Sovereign Power—supreme ruler of power

The Cross—Jesus was crucified on

The Wrath of God—fury or anger of God

War—battle between good and evil
