What Does This Mean: “My Grace is Sufficient for You?”

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. – 2 Corinthians 12:9

Paul is asking for help, just like you and I? There are times when our prayers seem like they are bouncing to the ceiling, but I can reassure you that He does, according to 1 John 5:14. “Now this is the confidence we have before Him: Whenever we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”  Apostle Paul asked the Lord to rescue him from Satan’s handicap three times in his prayers, and all Jesus said in this few words, “Paul ‘My grace is sufficient for you.‘”

So what’s the Savior saying to us today? I believe this with all of my heart that Lord Jesus is there for us, as our Advocate and Counselor. His words are true and they are just. “And the LORD, He it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.(Deut. 31:8)” Are you sensing this truth? I really do hope so. Jesus Christ loves you. His grace is enough for you. His power is strongest in you, when you need help. Let Him help you through your storm, situation, or circumstance. That’s why you here, right? Fear not, only believe.

Can you brag about the indwell surge of power during this time? Yes you can, because you know that’s not your own strength! Christ in you, the hope of glory, is holding you up with every step. So stand therefore in the Lord with boldness! Jesus Christ’s strength is anointing you right now – this very moment in time. Receive it: for your weakness makes you strong in Him, and the devil mad. Keep it that way. Let read 2 Corinthians 12:9 from the Amplified Bible, to stir up your spirit with hope:

“but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.”

Never will you give up, when you hear the answer to you prayer, as No. It may be God’s will, but the wrong timing.  In the waiting time, praise the Lord!  God inhabit praises (Ps.22:3), plus He seek it out daily (John 4:23). The more you praise, the weight of your problem(s) will be lifted, and seek His face, your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will rest on and inwardly give you that peace.

Enjoy the Supply of Divine Strength and Grace!

Until next time, continue to be blessed and Praise the Lord!
