God is Great and Worthy of Praise

I know we say these phrases, but do we understand the enormous attributes of God?

If you do, I encourage you to seek Him like never before, and begin to do all that He commands. Jesus is coming soon! Let’s prepare ourselves for Him. Amen.
The scriptures give us some clues to answer this important question about His character. As you read them, they will be marvelous in your eyes:

Psalm 145:3
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
How great is our God? His greatness is unsearchable.

Do you see the magnitude? He is not capable of being searched or investigated by man’s natural resources. He is the beginning of man, and He is the finisher of mankind. Knowing just this one characteristic, we already understand the greatness of God.

God is greatly to be praised!

Psalm 147:5
Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

Our Creator has made us in His image and likeness, and to know Him you much walk in the spirit. Why? Because God is a spirit, they that worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).

To understand God you must be in the spirit, just to tap into His unlimited power and greatness. As we discover the truth about His greatness, these scriptures give us a sense of who he is as a person.

Thank You Lord that I’m a friend of God!

Psalm 139:17
How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!

Your thoughts Lord are rare, how beautiful are they to me! I’ll never comprehend them all! But your love for me expresses the depth of it, and I’m grateful.

Thank You Lord for thinking of me always, you’ve got me on your mind 24/7!

Hallelujah!
God is Worthy of Our Praise!

God is praiseworthy, and must be praised according to the scriptures, as His greatness is show to all through His mighty deeds in Psalm 148. They are massive and too wonderful to describe. But thank God for men who believed in Him and tapped into the power of his greatness, because of these men, we have His living and powerful Word. Let’s read why He is worthy of our praises:

Psalm 48:1
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.

God’s majestic, praise abounds in the New Jerusalem, right now as we read this! All earth rejoices in His greatness. God is grandiose in all that He does and I’m priceless, because of whom I am in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

Thank You Lord for Your thunderous applauds, and I praise You for your greatness toward me. I have favor in your sight.

Glory to the God of this Universe!

Psalm 96:4
For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

He is the only Judicious God of this universe. There’s no other god of this infinite power, and Elohim is greatly to be praised.

Thank You Lord for being the Only Wise and True God!

Psalm 150:2
Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Why do we praise God? For His mighty acts – His tender care for all mankind – and for His excellent greatness. He is brilliant!

All credit belongs to Him – the Master of this Universe! Praise Him! All glory belongs to Him! All honor belongs to Him!

God’s people exalt Him today with me!
