Do you believe what God told you today?
Do you believe in His promises?
Trust in Him today!
If you believe, give your Lord a hand full of praise; clap your hands, and shout, Hallelujah!
“I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.” – Psalm 89:1
“O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?” – Psalm 89:8
“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)” Hebrews 10:23
Consider faithful Abraham?
“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;” Romans 4:20
You cannot consider or talk about things as they are and at the same time talk about how they will be by faith. Abraham, the father of faith, new this and practiced it. Considering and talking about your symptoms, circumstances will never encourage your faith but rather destroy it.
Someone has said that if the UPS Man delivers a box of scorpions to your door, he cannot leave them unless you sign for them. This simple illustration witnesses that we should not “sign for” or accept or claim anything we do not want. Abraham was not signing for a failure. He refused to accept defeat even when all proof seemed to indicate it.
Abraham had every right to sit down and have a long pity party of himself, but that God for Romans 4:19a which states “And being not weak in faith…” He faith was strong in the Lord, and praise Him. Giving glory and honor to the Almighty God against all odds. That is exactly how your faith will work for you.
Thank God for a thing before you get it, as you would after you received it!
Anyone can give glory and thank God for it after they receive it, but it takes FAITH to express your appreciation before it happens. Glory Hallelujah!
What do you need today? Have you asked for it? Have you thanked Him for it? Yes, thank Him for it right now! When you receive it, thank Him even more! He is a good God! An excellent Daddy! Great Friend!
Prayer, Faith, and Praise is no gimmick! It not something to do based on rules. It just about Belief – that’s it!
Let me share something that I learn from Roy Hicks. He said, “Faith looks over the whole picture and laughs because it can see the results.”
If God can laugh at his enemies, you can as well (Psalm 2:4; 37:13; 59:8; Job 22:19; Proverbs 1:26).
Do you think you can give thanks and praise to God right now, including later on? Believe in God’s promises today, they are sure!
