Let’s Read Isaiah 66:22-23:

“For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. ²³And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.”

I use the Message Translation a lot, so please and go and get a free copy of the Message Bible for reference sake. Here is what it says:

“For just as the new heavens and new earth that I am making will stand firm before me” —God’s Decree— “So will your children and your reputation stand firm. Month after month and week by week, everyone will come to worship me, God says.”

Do you see it? Open your eyes and see what God is saying in the above scriptures. The literally meaning for Worship is to depress or bow oneself (see What is Worship?) before God.

In the New Jerusalem, He will have all of his created beings to bow or prostrate their selves before Him. This is not Old Testament worship, but an eternal and future worship experience in Glory! This is no way out-dated as many may believe.

We will praise and worship God and Jesus throughout eternity!

Now let’s look back a few verses and read from verse 2:

“For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.”

In order words from the message bible: “I made all this! I own all this!” God’s Decree. “But there is something I’m looking for: a person simple and plain, reverently responsive to what I say.”

You have a choice to make today?

You can either continue to resist the Holy Spirit, and follow the traditions of men in their religious form of worship – seeing the Lord from a far, or you can respond to this invitation to draw near to Him, and boldly come to the throne room – Holy of Holiness. You can get as close to God as you would like – it’s your decision!

I recommend that you bow to the ground before your King, and the Maker of this Universe. If you are at home, riding on a train or bus, or in church service, please give holy honor that is due His Name.

He is the one and only true God!!!

Do you believe that today? I really do hope so.

We are to practice what we believe by faith. If He says it, will I not do it ?

If you are the only one in your church on the floor, let God use you to bring others to the feet of our Holy God! Amen.

Here is an example of the original Hebrew translation of Psalm 99:5,9:

Exalt Hashem, our God and Bow at his footstool; He is Holy! Verse 9: Exalt, Hashem, our God, and Bow at his holy mountain; for holy is Hashem, our God.
