Do you have and praise report or prayer request for me?
Watch this youtube video called ‘You Are God Alone’ by Marvin Sapp, and start to honor the Lord today. Amen.
Be All Glory, Honor, and Power Forever and Forever, O Lord!
There is no one like you!
You are Holy!
Why does God’s holiness cause us to live a life of thanksgiving?
This is an excellent question, thanks for asking. God doesn’t give us what we deserve, and has not rendered to us according to our sins.
Thank You, Lord, Hallelujah!
Thank You for Your grace, mercy, and love!
Jesus has made provision for us through His blood that we may obtain mercy in the time of need. We get so used to sinning and getting away with it that we just keep on sinning.
Saints of God, we are so used to God’s mercy, grace, and forgiveness that we abuse them.
God is Holy!
God is a holy God. If He wanted to enforce His holiness, all of us would be dead, because the wages of sin is death according to Romans 6:23a. Right! So, we need to respect and recognized this fact; which can be found in Romans 11:21-22:
“For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.”
For more clarity let’s read it in from the Message Bible: “If God didn’t think twice about taking pruning shears to the natural branches, why would he hesitate over you? He wouldn’t give it a second thought. Make sure you stay alert to these qualities of gentle kindness and ruthless severity that exist side by side in God—ruthless with the deadwood, gentle with the grafted shoot. But don’t presume on this gentleness. The moment you become deadwood, you’re out of there.”
This fact should be made known to every Believer. Please do not let this happen to you; being rejected because of your unacceptable worship. God’s love is shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit, recognize His goodness. Godly fear is known for all true acceptable worshippers; a place of adoration, love and respect.
Thank God for sending us Jesus!
John writes this to us in 1 John 2:1-2 in the Message Bible, “…Dear children, to guide you out of sin. But if anyone does sin, we have a Priest-Friend in the presence of the Father: Jesus Christ, righteous Jesus. When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good—not only ours, but the whole world’s.”
If you believe this, then let’s read Hebrews 12:4-11 from the same Message Bible, “In this all-out match against sin, others have suffered far worse than you, to say nothing of what Jesus went through—all that bloodshed! So don’t feel sorry for yourselves. Or have you forgotten how good parents treat children, and that God regards you as his children?
My dear child, don’t shrug off God’s discipline,
but don’t be crushed by it either.
It’s the child he loves that he disciplines;
the child he embraces, he also corrects.
God is educating you; that’s why you must never drop out. He’s treating you as dear children. This trouble you’re in isn’t punishment; it’s training, the normal experience of children. Only irresponsible parents leave children to fend for themselves. Would you prefer an irresponsible God? We respect our own parents for training and not spoiling us, so why not embrace God’s training so we can truly live? While we were children, our parents did what seemed best to them. But God is doing what is best for us, training us to live God’s holy best. At the time, discipline isn’t much fun. It always feels like it’s going against the grain. Later, of course, it pays off handsomely, for it’s the well-trained who find themselves mature in their relationship with God.”
Do you want a very good relationship with God?
Our hearts and attitude must be right, before attempting to call upon the Lord. It must be out of a pure heart and motive. How you ask? Our hearts are not made pure by our own designs, they are made pure by the confession and the repentance that is experienced when we face a holy God.
A life of worship is a life of brokenness and remorse. You see your errors and quickly confess them continually. You can’t live a life of sin throughout the week and then go to church on Sunday thinking you’re going to praise and worship the Lord. No way! You’ve got to be kidding? If God is a Spirit and is everywhere at all times, He is to be worshipped in an acceptable manner with the sense of godly fear.
You just need to be balanced in your perception of who God is…
Holy!
Praise is who we are, accept it and live in this holiness.
Until next time, continue to be blessed and Praise the Lord!
