Your Destiny is Tied to Your Praise

Praise the Lord!

Destiny by Petra

Do you know that praise is a powerful weapon, and can shape your destiny?

I would like to help and encourage you to use your weapon, and catapult you to walk into your God-given destiny. The decision is still up to you. No one will force you to follow the commandments of God.

Deuteronomy 13:4 states, “You shall walk after the Lord your God and reverently fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice, and you shall serve Him and cling to Him.”

To walk after the Lord your God, there are five keys you must do:

  1. Reverently Fear Him
  2. Keep His commandments
  3. Obey His Voice
  4. Serve Him
  5. Cling to Him

How many of us reverently fear the Lord your God? Not too many! It very sad to say that, but we should show admiration for or be in awe of God! He is our Creator, and is due respect. That’s plain and simple!

How many of us keep His commandments? In this world today, you can see that not many of us, Christians, don’t maintain our relationship with our Lord, and that’s why many of the elect cannot hear God’s voice or discern the times of God, and keep his commands.

How many of us obey His Voice? If we are not maintaining our relationship with Him, we are most definitely not hearing His voice or acknowledging Him in all their ways. Come on now! Don’t deceive yourself.

How many of us serve Him? There are many of us that serve people, but not God. They are men-pleasures instead of God-pleasures. We are to serve Him only, as commanded in His Words.

How many of us cling to Him? You can answer “NO” to this as well. If we are not doing one through four, you can rest assured that they are not adhering to or tightly holding on to His Words. You’ve got to be kidding!

Do you really want to walk after the Lord your God? If so, make the decision right now! I will be a doer of the word, and not a hearer only (James 1:22)!

The Word of God said in James Chapter 1 verses 23 thru 25, “For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”

Let’s read it in the Message Bible for a little clarity starting a verse 22:

“Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like.

But whoever catches a glimpse of the revealed counsel of God—the free life!—even out of the corner of his eye, and sticks with it, is no distracted  scatterbrain but a man or woman of action. That person will find delight and affirmation in the action.”

Amen!

Deuteronomy 30:19, it states, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”

As you can see, God is telling us to choose life. How simple is that? The blessings of God are for you and your children. In verse 16 of Deuteronomy 30, God is commanding us to love Him and walk in His ways.

This is life people! You can walk into God’s purpose for your life, if you listen to what I’m saying to you in the spirit.

I said this before; the decision is still up to you. No one will force you to follow the commandments of God, and receive the blessings He has for you. Yesterday I compared the blessings to the life of praise. Praise is life! Get that? Let’s read a few scriptures:

“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.” –  Genesis 2:7

“Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” – Psalms 150:6

“The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence.” – Psalms 115:17

When we praise God we are giving back the life that God gave to us in the beginning, and he will give us life more abundantly (John 10:10)!

Hallelujah!! !

“I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” – Psalm 16:7-11

How do I start to walk in that destiny? Praise God like never before. You will develop a great relationship with your Heavenly Father, like never before. In return, He will show you how to walk out after His commandments, obey His Voice, and serve Him freely. Then, your life will change for the better.

Your destiny is tied to your praise.
