Heart Worship

Glory and Honor and Praise!

How great is our God? Tell Him right now.

You have 5 second to get your praise on…5…4…3…2…1

Glory Lord, Hallelujah!

It is always good to love on Him.

Recently I have been reading the book of Isaiah, and come across these two verses in Chapter 29:

Verses 13-14I worship you
“Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.”
Let’s read it in the Message Bible for a little clarity:

“The Master said: These people make a big show of saying the right thing, but their hearts aren’t in it. Because they act like they’re worshiping me but don’t mean it, I’m going to step in and shock them awake, astonish them, stand them on their ears. The wise ones who had it all figured out will be exposed as fools. The smart people who thought they knew everything will turn out to know nothing.”

These verses are deep. It is for those who have eyes to read. You better hear it in your spirit.

God knows the motive of the heart. Heart worship is what God is looking for; those who will worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:24). Don’t fool yourself? Don’t deceive yourself? This is very serious, and should not be taken lightly.

Check Your Motive, before praising and worshipping your Heavenly God. He knows the reason why you are doing something or behaving in a specific way. You cannot fool God. He knows the motives and intents of the heart.

As you can see from these verses, there are people saying and doing the right things, but their hearts are far removed. Please do not be one of those types of people. Thinking to be wise in their own eyes, they became fools.

Please hear the word of the Lord in Proverbs 8:5:

“O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.”

Take heed to this warning!

This is for all of those who need a little more understanding. Let’s read it from the Message Bible:

“Listen, you idiots – learn good sense! You blockheads – shape up! Don’t miss a word of this – I’m telling you how to live well, I’m telling you how to live at your best.”

Have you ever been in church service praising or worshipping God and thinking of what’s for dinner at the same time? Hopefully you haven’t done that, but where was the focus? Your chicken dinner of course! You were worrying about your stomach more than worshipping God and giving Him your undivided attention.

Praise and worship is an action that must be done by you, and only you with a heart that is focused only on Adoni (your God)!

If you love God, reverence Him! Amen. Do not take Him for granted, and be unstable in your ways (James 1:8). You know what happens next (v.7)? “For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.”

We want to please Him. Right! So Listen, and take heed. OK !

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” – Proverbs 1:7

Let’s read it in the Message Bible:

“Start with God—the first step in learning is bowing down to God; only fools thumb their noses at such wisdom and learning.”

The praise of the heart brings cheer to God’s ears, for His people sound best when they glorify Him with a pure heart.  I did not want to write this to you, but it must be written.

I take praising and worshipping God seriously, and I hope that you are encourage to do the same.

I will leave you on this happy note: Psalm 32:11

“Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.”

Until next time, continue to be blessed and Praise the Lord!
