Are You A Living Stone or A Tombstone?

Did you answer my question for yesterday? Are you a living stone or a tombstone?

Hopefully you are a living tabernacle unto God: a lively stone not made by man’s hands.

You were created by Him, and made in His image (Genesis 1:27).

Every created being living on planet earth was created with an instinct to praise and worship.  These created things: people, the sun, moon, and stars, heavens, all kinds of animals, and so on was placed here on earth to praise God Almighty.

We were pre-wired that way by Him, and He created and made these things for His good pleasure. In return, His created beings praise Him, and worship Him.

Since you are not dead today, what are you waiting for? Do you need a special invitation? Well… get to praising your God!

Right Now! Did you hear me? I said right now!

Has God been good to you?

Start praising Him.

Met every one of your needs?

Start thanking Him.

You are alive and well!

Start loving on Him.

Amen!

In your studies, please read Psalm 148 today, it is a list of created things who praise the Creator, God. I’m here to tell you, it is your duty and a privilege to praise our Heavenly Father. Why?

I’m glad you asked. The dead praise not the Lord (Psalm 115:17). That’s why! I’m going to repeat this over and over again. So get used to it; it’s the truth! It will set you free (John 8:32)!

Free to praise and worship from the inside out. Listen to your inward man. You will never feel inferior, ashamed, or prideful. He can only tell you the words, but you must speak them out. True Christians who realize that they have been saved by grace and God’s mercy will have the desire to praise. I’m convinced of that.

You are free to sing. Free to dance. Free to run. Free to shout.

Freedom in Christ is so liberating! It’s almost like being a Hippie!

Do you remember the Hippies from the sixties? Peace, Love, and No War.

The Hippies were unconventional young people who rejected normal society, and used psychedelic drugs to feel free. At their gatherings, you would see man and women dancing and twirling to music, singing, getting high on drugs, and protesting against social or political values. This was freedom to a lot of young men and women in that era.

I know I have brought back some memories for some of you, but thank God, you are not that person anymore. It was all just an illusion J Puff! It’s gone. That old man (or woman) died on the cross with Christ Jesus (Galatians 2:20). Amen! Christ died to set you free – free from bondage, free from sin – to walk into perfect liberty (James 1:25).

You do not have to do all what the Hippies did too obtain freedom!

God has set us free:”For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death” – Romans 8:2

“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:” – Colossians 1:13

This Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has freed your mind from dead works, traditions of men, and impure actions, and rescues you to praise and worship the living God.

You are alive today! Oh, Glory Hallelujah!

You should have praise in your heart. You are Free!!
