Study: Taqa,’ Clapping Hands in Praise to God

Your act of praise and worship is an act of obedience! Amen.

I like saying this:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 – Praise is a sacrifice. You don’t have to feel anything. Just DO IT (like the Nike’s motto)!!

Shabach Hallelujah

Praise the Lord

You are an awesome God

A Mighty King of kings, Lord of lords

My Strong Tower and Refuge

My Way, when there seem to be no way

My Hope is in You, O Lord, My Peace is in You

I magnify You, Lord, I Exalt Your Name

All Glory And Honor is Due to You Lord God

You are Holy, and Righteous

Glory, Hallelujah!

Wasn’t the Awesome! God is ALL that…He is better than your favorite entertainment, better than a bag of Herr’s potatoes chips, He is better than anything the world has to offer us.

There is no one like our God! Amen.

Smile…He is that good, and much more!

Clapping of Hands

Do you remember this childhood song?

If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands

If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands

If you’re happy and you know it, than your face will surly show it.

If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands

Do you remember this song? For some of us, it is still fresh in our minds, because we have little children at home.

We learn to clap our hands at a very early age, and still clap our hands today. Most people love to clap their hands, or stomp their feet. Why? It is exciting. It brings joy into our life. It is a way to communicate something to someone else without talking.

We see clapping done in homes, schools, churches, and many other places. Clapping is done universal. All languages clap their hands. If you could not understand another language, you would understand clapping, smiling, and laughing.

If you cannot sing or dance, under normal circumstance, I guarantee that you can clap your hands or stomp your feet. The majority of us were blessed with the gift, so you are without excuse in praising the Lord.

We love to express our approval by clapping of the hands!

I will show you. Taqa’, the Lord we me, right now!

Watch this youtube video by Misty Edwards:

Oh Clap Your Hands (For the Lord is good)

Did Misty stir up your heart to taqa’ the Lord? She is saying: clap for the Lord; who is good to all.

Taqa’ (tä—kah’) is another Hebrew word; which means “to strike, to smite, or clap your hands.”

Let’s Read Psalms 47:1:

O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.”

If you believe that, then shout Halleujah!

Clap for all the times he made a way for you, when it seems impossible.

Clap for your health and strength

Clap for every victory! Amen.

Why? We have the victory in Jesus Name. Taqa’ and let the devil know that you’re in approval of this victory. Glory to God!

I feel like shouting – Shabach the Lord! I praise you. I adore you.

Here are other scriptures found in the King James Version of the bible that shown Taqa’ in their verses. I encourage you to study this new Hebrew word, and share it with others: Proverbs 17:18, Proverbs 22:26, Proverbs 6:1, Nahum 3:19 (also these verses express rejoicing over another’s misfortune). There are other usage for Taqa’ in the bible and they are “to blow, clap, strike, sound, thrust, give a blow, and blast”. Looked them up in the strong’s concordance at your earlier convenience. You will be surprise as to how many of these words are found.

Clap your hands to the Lord for the Victories (past, present and in the future)!

Until next time, continue to be blessed and Praise the Lord!
