Glory to God in the Highest

Worthy are you, Lord!

Holy and Righteous is your Name. There is power in that Name. Healing is in the Name. Peace in that Name. Deliverance is in that Name.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!

Hallelujah!

I want men, woman, and children everywhere to lift up holy hands giving praises to the Lord. Why? Because you love your Heavenly Father, and he loves you.

You may have seen some brothers or sisters in the Lord, raising their hands in church. Have you ever asked yourself this question, why are they lifting their hands in the air? They are giving yadah to the Lord. It is a Hebrew word that expresses your praise towards God.

Yadah is a verb meaning to cast or throw; “the extended hand, to throw out the hand, therefore to worship with hands extended;’ therefore, “to worship with extended hand.” Yadah means to willfully throw your hands up to praise with power.

2 Chronicles 20:19-20 is the yadah type of praise, because they were ready to throw down. Let’s read it:

“And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high.

And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.”

Here are additional scriptures that can be found in the following:

Genesis 49:8, 2 Chronicles 8:14, Ezra 3:10, Psalms 22:22, Psalms 69:30, 2 Chronicles 7:6, Isaiah 12:4, and Jeremiah 33:11

Why lift up hands? Lifting your hands is just like a child running towards their daddy with hands lifted upward. Pick me up daddy where you are. This act of praise will get you to submit yourself to God totally.

Lifting your hands to God will help you out of your problems, situations, or circumstances to where He is; the security and love that everyone is looking for. Do you trust Him today? You can start to praise Him in your worship service by lifting your hands.

Let’s try it right now, extend your hands towards your Father, God. Start to praise Him for His goodness towards you on a daily basis.

Yadah God, and bless His Name!

Hallelujah!

When you Yadah to music you are worshiping the image of the creator, and/or the source of the music [God the Creator]. In the natural, you can see this done at concerts, and other entertaining avenues. We, as people, have no problems lifting up our hands – waving them at ball games and at music concerts, but when it come to God we stop praising!

We were created to praise! The problem has been, and will continue to be, who we praise. Our Heavenly Father is a jealous God, and would like for His creation to have fellowship only with Him!

“For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:” – Exodus 34:14
Will you fellowship with Him today? Start by Yadahing your Lord.

Are you ready?
