You Do Have a Choice! You can stay in fear or You can act in Faith. The choice is yours…You cannot do both at the same time. (Matthew 6:2; James 1:8) There is freedom in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 3:17), and this is the Glory of the New Covenant, (V.16) “but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away” and (V.18) “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.” Hallelujah, Glory to His Name! Believe it. Amen.

You are the Art and the Architecture

There was a boy with down syndrome who was really enjoying the worship. Unlike the crowd who’d follow the body worship ladies in the front and sing, he’d jump around and shout the lyrics. Whenever he’d get loud his grandparents (or parents?) would shush him up and were obviously annoyed/embarrassed about the situation.

I guess the question I asked myself that day was “Who is really worshiping God?” Why are we so used to conforming to the usual ways of worship? Why can’t I be “crazy” and worship Jesus like David did? Is it because I’m scared of people’s judgment?

I know going all “charismatic” is one thing; but there’s just too many times when I don’t feel convicted of God’s freedom in worship. Instead of focusing on God I focus on people’s judgments. It’s definitely a fear of God vs. fear of people issue.
