31 Ways to Help You within a Month to Begin to Praise God Every Day
As you strive to give God worship, you should use whatever means are appropriate to help you — Pray, Meditate, Say Your Confession, Listen to Praise & Worship Music, Do Some Giving (of your time and money), and Personal Bible Study – to focus on Him.
The following are a list of characteristics of God that will get your mind focus on who He is each day, using the scriptures to get you started. As the Holy Spirit lead you to, do a combination of things, like say your scriptures, pray, then listen to music that focus on God. Here are the first 10 of this proven program of praise:
- The Almighty God. “O Lord, God Almighty, who is like you? You are mighty, O Lord, and your faithfulness surrounds you” (Psalms 89:8).
The Creator God. “Creator God, I praise You because `You made the heavens , even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all this in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you’” (Nehemiah 9:6).
The Only God. “God , I praise You because You are ‘the Lord, and there is no other; apart from [You] there is no God’” (Isaiah 45:5).
The Holy God. “Holy, holy, holy [are You] Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come” (Revelation 4:8).
The Everlasting Father. “[You] mighty God who lives forever and ever” (Isaiah 9:6).
The God Who Heals. “Father, I praise You because You are the Lord who heals me” (Exodus 15:26).
The Burden Bearer. “Praise be to the Lord, to God [my] Savior, who daily bears [my] burdens” (Psalms 68:19).
The God Who Answers Prayer. “I praise and honor You, Father, because You are a God who loves to answer prayer and who begins to answer even before I pray” (Isaiah 65:24).
The Merciful God. I praise You, Father, because “You have never forsake me; for You are gracious, and merciful God” (Nehemiah 9:31).
The Only Wise God. I praise You for being the only God our Savior, “be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forevermore” (Jude 25).
That was good. I know. Did your baby leap? Just like Elizabeth’s baby, when Mary visited her (Luke 1:41-47). The Holy One living on the inside of you leaps with joy, as you praise the Lord. I like verse 45, it said “And blessed is she that believed:” Are you a believer today? Yes, Amen. “For there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” In other words, who believed what God said, believed every word would come true! Are you still believing that you can praise and worship God with you whole being – spirit, soul, and body?
If so, do just like Mary. Magnify the Lord (v.46), and let your spirit rejoice in God your Savior. I know you cannot wait until tomorrow. You will receive 10 more characteristics of God. Click Here for Part 2

Like spiritual dynamite, praise has an explosive quality. Released in a life, it revolutionizes everything it comes in contact with. In Power in Praise Merlin Carothers provides a simple, clear examination of how and why the principles introduced in Prison to Praise work in every-day life.
